Kyiv School of Economics (KSE)actively implements large-scale initiatives with the support of international donors, including humanitarian, educational and analytical projects. We already have a team of experienced managers who support grant activities. We are currently looking for aGrant Implementation Lead with proven experience in the implementation of projects of high complexity and a significant budget, which involve complex multi-level coordination and responsible reporting. This role covers the full management of project implementation from launch to final reporting to donors, involving internal teams, contractors and external partners. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work with a high level of autonomy, influence and responsibility.
Primary purpose of the role:
Ensuring the effective implementation of grant projects from application to project completion and closure.
Your responsibilities will be:
1) Search for grant opportunities and programs that correspond to the organization's profile or specific requests
2) Preparation of project budgets necessary supporting documentation for the application
3) Establishing contacts and maintaining communication with relevant donor organizations
4) Carrying out registration actions on behalf of the university with relevant donors
Formation of proposals for potential project teams within the framework of interaction with academic leaders (Principal Investigator) for writing applications;
6) Analysis of evaluations and feedback to improve further applications.
7) Conducting consultation activities with further support in the preparation of grant applications
8) Interaction with international, financial, legal and other departments of KSE according to relevant questions for writing an application;
9) Keeping records of prepared and submitted grants
10) Administrative coordination of supported international KSE projects (post-award phase);
11) Management interaction with academic leaders (Principal Investigator and the team) of projects;
12) Administrative interaction with international, financial, legal and
by other KSE departments on relevant issues of project implementation;
13) Formation of the work plan for project implementation in KSE, coordination support and monitoring of its implementation;
14) Ensuring the implementation of articles of project budgets in accordance with the conditions of international programs;
15) Organization of tender procedures and interaction with contractors or
by service providers;
16) Preparation of necessary supporting and reporting documentation;
17) Ensuring promotion of the project and dissemination of project results.
We expect:
• Bachelor's degree or PhD in the social sciences, humanities, economics or technology.
• Work experience in a similar position
• Experience of working with programs of international donors, primarily with US and EU funding.
• Experience in writing grant applications.
• Experience in writing a project budget for a grantapplication.
• Knowledge of English at level B2 or higher (written and oral communication).
• Communication and cooperation skills with international partners.
• Ability to effectively organize own work and team work.
