International Solidarity (SI)is an international humanitarian non-governmental organization that has been working for more than 40 years helping populations affected by armed conflict and natural disasters by providing the vital needs of food, water and shelter. In particular, SI is involved in the fight against diseases related to unsafe water, which is one of the leading causes of death in the world. SI provides expertise in access to drinking water, improved sanitation and hygiene, and food security and livelihoods. With a presence in approximately twenty countries, SI teams - a total of 2,000 people, made up of expatriates, national staff, permanent headquarters staff and volunteers - work with professionalism and dedication while respecting culture.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Logistics Specialist supports the Deputy Logistics Coordinator and the Logistics Coordinator in the implementation and oversight of all logistics activities.
In particular, he/she provides support in the implementation of urgent measures, as well as in the storage and archiving of material and technical documents.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES:
Oworld:Higher education in the field of logistics
Experience:At least 2 years in the field of logistics, preferably 1 year of experience in the humanitarian field
Knowledge languages: Fluency in Ukrainian, English - B2 and above
IT knowledge: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), preferred experience with Link
Qualifications: logistics skills, specific technical skills (electrical, mechanical, etc.) are an advantage
Personal qualities: Skills negotiation, self-organization, diplomacy, stress resistance.
TERMS OF WORK:
Place of work: office at the address: Kyiv, st. Olesya Honchara, bldg. 57B. Possible business trips to Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson regions.

The logistics officer for operations supports the Deputy Logistics Coordinator/ Logistics Coordinator in implementing and supervising all operational logistical activities at Coordination level. In particular, he/she lends support to carrying out urgent activities and the filing and archiving logistical documents.

Management of vehicle fleet
Management of equipment/telecommunications
Management of premises
Human resource management
PROFILE FORSAKEN
Studies: Higher education in logistics
Experience: at least 2 years in logistics, humanitarian experience of 1 years is preferred
Language: Fluency in Ukrainian, English - B2 and above
IT: Basic knowledge of Windows and Office pack, Link experience is preferred
Qualification: Logistics skills, Specific technical skills (electricity, mechanics...) is a plus
Soft skills: Negotiation, self-organization, diplomatic, stress management
WORKING CONDITIONS
Place of work: office at the address: Kyiv, Olesia Honchara str., building 57Б, possible business trips to Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson regions
Contract: fixed-term contract (according to Ukrainian legislation)
Type of employment: full-time
Salary: 1580 EURO gross (before the taxation, paid in UAH according to the monthly rate of the bank of the European Commission).
Additionally: paid vacation 31 calendar days, additional paid vacation for family reason, medical and life insurance.
