The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and carries out direct legal aid programs throughout Ukraine, promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights. to persons", which is implemented by the BF "Right to Protection", aimed at protecting and supporting the rights of internally displaced persons and the population affected by the conflict. The Fund monitors the protection and supports the initiatives of local communities, advocates for the improvement of legal norms and policies, and also provides free legal assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs).
With the support of the UNHCR, the Fund implements the direction of emergency cash assistance for IDPs and is looking for a candidate for the position of Local coordinator for the provision of emergency cash assistancein the city of Mykolaiv (Mykolaiv Oblast).
The local coordinator for the provision of emergency monetary assistance of the "BF "Right to protection" reports to the Coordinator for emergency monetary assistance.
Responsibilities of the local coordinator for the provision of emergency financial assistance include the processing of information and general support for the activities of the BF "Right to Protection" at the regional level in particular, but not limited to the following:
- Coordination of emergency financial assistance projects in the region coordinator;
- Organizing the work of teams to achieve the goals, quantitative and qualitative indicators of the project.
- Organizing the work of regional teams within the defined area in order to achieve the qualitative and quantitative indicators of the project;
- Coordinating the activities of regional teams, ensuring the proper and timely performance of the tasks set by the coordinator, formulating and explaining tasks and deadlines to employees. Determining the scope of those responsible for specific tasks;
- Ensuring proper database maintenancethe bottom of the existing instructions and quality control of the filling of the database by regional teams;
- Collection, systematization and storage of documentation and materials based on the results of the regional teams in paper and electronic form;
- Collection of financial documentation (accounts, etc.) of the team and its submission for reimbursement of expenses, in accordance with the procedures of the BF "Right to Defense" and within the specified time limits;
- Formation of reports and presentations based on the results of implementation of the project;
- Maintaining constant communication with the coordinator on issues of emergency financial assistance;
- Performing an analysis of team members’ work indicators;
- Monthly certification of team members’ time sheets;
- Ensuring regional team employees’ understanding and implementation of the Code of Conduct and other internal policies of BF “Right to Defense”;
- Preference is given to candidates who have their own car.
Required skills/qualifications
- Higher education;
- Understanding the local context of internal displacement;
- Awareness of humanitarian principles and standards of human rights;
- Experience in organizing team work;
- Knowledge of computer programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Good communication skills; self-presentation skills;
- Tolerance; the ability to create and maintain a friendly working atmosphere;
- Proficiency in English at the Intermediate level will be an advantage;
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines;
- Ability to work closely with team members;
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Self-motivation, initiative, flexibility.
