Leading specialist in project management (public health) in Red Cross Ukraine

The National Committee of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine (RCSHU) announces a competition for the position of Leading Project Management Specialist

The Red Cross Society of Ukraine is the largest humanitarian organization in Ukraine, which is one of the first to respond to all emergency situations in the country and provides assistance to those who need it most needs.

Main responsibilities:

Overall project coordination:

• Responsibility for project implementation at the national level, including all planned activities.
• Ensuring effective implementation of project plans, deliverables, timelines and budget.

 Organization of events and training:

• Planning, logistics and organizational coordination of all training and coordination events, working groups and round tables at the national level.
• Interaction with external organizations and experts who directly conduct training and training.
• Methodical and organizational support of regional coordinators in implementation of measures on the ground.

 Integration of medical and social approaches (public health):

• Implementation of comprehensive solutions combining medical and social aspects of community support.
• Ensuring effective interaction between sectors and regional teams.
• Supporting regional coordinators in applying public health approaches to places.

 Monitoring and control:

• Development of standard operating procedures (SOP) for interdepartmental interaction on issues related to the project.
• Promoting the implementation of uniform standards of work with stakeholders in the network of Civic Centers.
• Control over the implementation of activities in the regions through the work of regional coordinators.
• Verification timeliness and quality of reporting and the results of the implementation of plans.
• Promoting the professional capacity of community development specialists in the field of project implementation.

Management of resources and documentation:

• Planning and control of the use of the budget.
• Support of the purchase of materials and services within the project budget.
• Preparation of analytical materials, reports for donors and management.

Coordination and internal interaction:

• Interaction with the coordinators of Civic Centers and specialized divisions of the National Committee.
• Promoting the exchange of information, experience and best practices between Civic Centers.
• Participation in working groups, meetings and strategic sessions.

 Communication and representation:

• Ensuring effective communication with donors, partners, internal departments and regional coordinators.
• Participation in the preparation of presentation, analytical and information materials.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Higher education.
• Knowledge of the English language. 
• Experience in the field of public health, software orproject management, support of development programs from 3 years
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, databases, e-mail).
• Experience of communication with different categories of people, tact and diplomacy.
• Cooperation and teamwork.
