The National Committee of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine (RCHU) announces a competition for the position of Leading expert on community development

The Red Cross Society of Ukraine is the largest humanitarian organization in Ukraine, which is one of the first to respond to all emergency situations in the country and provides assistance to those who need it most. > community development initiatives.

Analysis of needs and generalization of experience:

• Analysis of the results of community needs assessment conducted by Civic Centers.
• Summary of best practices, challenges and needs of communities from different regions.
• Preparation of analytical materials, conclusions and proposals for program planning at the national level.

 Development of programs and standards:

• Development and updating of standard operating procedures (SOP) on community development issues.
• Participation in the development of typical local community development programs and methodological recommendations for them.
• Promoting the implementation of uniform standards of work with communities in the network of Public centers.

 Project and grant support:

• Monitoring grant opportunities, donor programs and competitions.
• Preliminary analysis of grant announcements and preparation of recommendations for participation in competitions.
• Expert proofreading and finalization of project and grant applications, activity plans and budgets.
• Providing support in preparation reporting documentation (if necessary).

 Coordination and internal interaction:

• Interaction with coordinators of Civic Centers and coordinators of the National Committee.
• Promoting the exchange of information, experience and best practices between Civic Centers.
• Participation in working groups, meetings and strategic sessions.

 Communication and representation:

• Participation in the preparation of presentation, analytical and informational materials.
• Promoting interaction with donors, partners and other interested parties within the scope of competence.

Monitoring, evaluation and development capabilities:

• Participation in the development of program monitoring indicators and tools.
• Evaluation of the effectiveness of programs and approaches, preparationsreceiving proposals for their improvement.
• Promoting the professional capacity of community development specialists.
