Objective of the position:Leading specialist in research, evaluation and reporting is responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of organizational processes through analysis, performance evaluation, and development of methodologies. Responsibilities include monitoring projects and programs for compliance with standards, organizing workshops to optimize processes, and training staff in planning and reporting. The position is aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the organization through methodical support and consulting in conducting research.
Main duties:
- Performing assessments and analyzes of organizational activities, including providing support and consulting in conducting research and development methodologies.
- Monitoring of all research related to projects and programs in order to ensure compliance with standards and appropriate methodologies.
- Organization and conduct of workshops for the learning project, including post-project discussion in order to study learning values and optimize processes.
- Development of “learning agenda” — together with the PMER team, create and monitor learning plans to improve quality programs.
- Assessment and analysis of the organization’s activities and provision of methodological assistance and consultations in planning and execution of research and development of methodologies.
- Monitoring of all research that takes place within the framework of projects andgrams, in order to ensure their compliance with standards and methodologies.
- Conduct planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting (PMER) training for staff and project teams.
- Participate in internal and external meetings as a representative of the quality and accountability unit.
- Ensuring the inclusion of key lessons and findings in the organization's strategic and operational plans, and writing a “Lessons Learned” report.
- Execute other tasks as assigned by the head of the quality control and analysis department.
Additional duties:
- Represent the PMER unit at internal and external meetings as needed.
- Perform other duties assigned by the head of the PMER.
General duties:
- Actively work to achieve the goals of the TCHU.
- Follow the principles of the Red Cross traffic and work in accordance with them.
- Perform any other work-related tasks and duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Candidate requirements:
- Higher education: Bachelor or master's degree in social sciences, humanities, project management, international relations or other relevant fields, having a Ph.D. is an advantage.
- Experience in project management, planning, monitoring and reporting.
- Experience working in humanitarian and international organizations.
- High level of literacy, ability to express thoughts clearly and convincingly in written form.
- Ability to effectively plan, organize working hours, and manage several projects at the same time.
- Proficiency in English.
- Fluency in Ukrainian.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to cooperate and work in a team.
- Ability to make decisions.
- Skills to cooperate with partners / contractors, local organizations will be an advantage.
- Ability to apply non-standard / innovative solutions in work.
- Ability to build trust.
