The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is an international non-governmental organization that promotes and supports long-term solutions to the problems faced by refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide.
DRB is currently looking for a Junior security specialist, to join our team in the city of Mykolaiv.
General purpose of the role:
As a Junior Security Officer, you will provide technical support to the security team, field office and program teams on all DRB security planning policies, procedures and standards. You will report directly to the Security Team Leader. You will maintain relevant safety documentation, data and records (attendance lists, training register, incident tracking, maps, etc.).

About you:
To be successful in this position, we expect you to have at least 1 year of experience in security, security or related fields, preferably in an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO).
We also expect the following:
Bachelor's Degree in Security or in any other related field.
Proven ability to prioritize, complete tasks and meet deadlines under stressful conditions.
Digital Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office programs, including Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in graphics, design or data visualization tools preferred.
Proven ability to work effectively under supervision, training and reporting.
Proven ability to understand and communicate in basic English in language
Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal communication skills and the ability to represent the DRB in a dignified manner.

Duration of the contract: 3-month trial period, with the possibility continuation depending on funding and quality of work performed

Salary andthe conditions will be in accordance with the Conditions of Employment of the staff of the Danish Refugee Council in Ukraine.
