Java Tech Lead in Luxoft

We build the platform, which supports client onboarding in global financial institution. This platform includes processing of onboarding requests as they flow from Clients to Sales to Operations and to downstream processing functions.
We are looking for a conscientious and intelligent person capable of exploring and understanding complex systems and an interaction between them. Our desired lead is a senior developer who communicates with members of his own and other teams, plans and organizes the work of himself, be able to decompose, design, implement task, cover it with tests, supports QA and L3 specialists in on demand mode.

Technically solution consists of two main components:
1. Metadata configurator. Analysts use it to prepare metadata that Operational application works on top of. Allows for customization of business processes and rules
2. Operational application. Operations analysts' main tool, onboarding requests live here.
Applications built with with Java11/Kotlin, Activiti, Spring, Mongo DB, Hazelcast, React/Redux. Auxiliary components cover various business cases: reporting, client facing applications, operational dashboards, request processing prioritization and many more.

Responsibilities

Active agile team membership

Development of the new components, features and extending existing functionality (Java 17, Kotlin, Spring, SQL)

APIs integration with 3rd parties

Architecture design

Proactive collaboration with teammates and communication with remote teams

New development tools evaluation and adoption (libraries and approaches to improve delivery quality)

Dev testing and code test coverage

Peer design and code reviews

Skills

Must have

Solid experience in industry of software development 6+ years

Proven experience as software developer on web projects

Proven experience on a Tech or Team Lead roles

Good knowledge of Java 17 or Kotlin, Spring, SQL.

Experience with multithreading

Web services ( SOAP, REST, etc.)

Up-to-date overview of modern software development tools and techniques
