Java/Kafka Team Lead in Luxoft

We are going to build a new platform that will act as a middleware to connect frontoffice bank systems with bigdata storage solution

Responsibilities

Understand our core applications, actively maintain and develop them, while partnering with solution architects to enable and drive deployment of strategic solutions ​

Utilizing your expertise in event streaming and messaging systems, particularly Kafka, to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and communication channels within our technology solutions ​

guide implementation teams to successful delivery ​

make sure technical solutions are integrated into our heterogeneous and highly automated infrastructure​

Contribute to the Architecture/Design Roadmap​

Focusing on increasing the productivity of the team in terms of frequency of releases

Skills

Must have

8+ years of java experience with minimum 3 years of experience with Kafka ​

3+ years of Lead experience​

Solid Core Java knowledge, largely backend

Proficiency in event streaming and messaging systems, with a strong emphasis on Kafka ​

Proven commercial experience as an Java Developer, ideally within the finance sector​

Proven delivery of high performing IT solutions ​

Ability to produce secure, stable and good performing code
