Investment accounting manager (Lviv or Kyiv, hybrid work format) in AIMS International Ukraine

Our Client is a development company engaged in the construction of residential real estate in Lviv and Kyiv since 2003. The company, which is among the TOP-3 largest developers of Ukraineby the volume of housing put into operation according to Forbes Ukraine, in connection with the expansion of the team is looking for the position Investment accounting manager.


The company is looking for 2 investment accounting managers: one vacancy in Lviv, the second vacancy in Kyiv, who will accompany 2 regions separately: Kyiv and Lviv.

The main goal of the position:
Coordination and adjustment of investment accounting methodology within the framework of four circuits, ensuring accurate and operational financial reporting, analysis of investment attractiveness and risks, development of dashboards and support for management decision-making.

1. Participant accounting
2. Investment project portfolio accounting
3. Project accounting
4. Major shareholder accounting

What is important for success:

• Understanding the construction of primary (transactional) accounting. Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience in implementing, changing and building financial systems;
• Ability to dive into and gain an understanding of operational business processes;
• Attention to details and analytical thinking;
• Ability to link financial information;
• Willingness to conduct a transaction with hands, show where the error is, correct the error;
• Ability to conduct effective communication (clearly and easily explain complex issues and recommendations in simple words);
• Initiative and proactivity;
• Adaptability and flexibility.

 Requirements:

• Full higher education (financial or economic).
• From 3 years as a financial specialist, investment or financial manager in a system companies.
• Excellent command of Excel, Power BI or similar to create dashboards and real business analysis. Experience with 1C or other ERP.
• Experience in calculating investment indicators and developing financial models.
• Experience in building and managing large volumes of data.

Key responsibilities:

1. Setting up and maintaining the investment accounting methodology in each line of responsibility.
2. Participating in the development of reporting for each line: formats, periodicity, control indicators.
3. Setting up operational work on reporting analysis: data collection, data verification, reconciliation with the financial model.
4. Working with financial models to assess the investment attractiveness of construction projects: calculation of NPV, IRR, discount curves, sensitivity and scenarios.
5. Evaluation of investment indicators and their interpretation for management decisions.
6. Development and support of dashboards for monitoring of key indicators.
7. Working with the risk map of the project and the participant: identification of risks, assessment of impact and probability, development of risk management plans.
8. Development of financial model and data of the investment project: ensuring consistency of data between systems (1With and other accounting systems and BI platforms).
9. Interaction with the teams of the developer and financial directorate to ensure timely and high-quality reporting.
