Humanitarian aid distribution specialist in Proliska, GO

Proliska NGO announces a tender for the conclusion of an agreement on the provision of humanitarian aid services in the city of Sumy

Proliska public organization is a non-commercial, non-political humanitarian organization that, since 2014, has been providing comprehensive assistance and protection to the population affected by military operations in Ukraine.

Currently, our organization works in 13 regions of Ukraine and provides: social support of the most vulnerable people who suffered as a result of military actions; provision of psychological assistance to victims; consulting on social issues; provision of humanitarian aid and materials for emergency repairs of housing damaged as a result of hostilities; providing assistance to institutions and establishments where IDPs have found refuge; assistance in the evacuation of the population from the combat zone and social transportation of residents of settlements along the combat line and in de-occupied territories where regular transport does not operate.

I. Requirements for contestants:

• Higher education (will be an advantage).
• Fluent command of the Ukrainian language.
• Previous experience related to humanitarian response (will be an advantage).
• Readiness for regular trips within the defined territory of activity, including, to the territory close to the zone of hostilities (exclusively to territories under the control of the Government of Ukraine).
• Readiness for activities related to physical exertion (unloading and loading, packaging, issuing, installation, etc.);
• Basic skills in using a computer and computer programs and Google forms.
• Attention and literacy when filling out information and compiling reports on the distribution made.
• Ability to work closely with team members.
• Politeness and diplomacy.
• Adherence to humanitarian principles.
• Performance of duties guided by gender sensitivity and zero tolerance for sexual harassment.

II. Functional responsibilities:

• loading/unloading of goods in the warehouse and at the points of issue;
• assembly and packaging of goods in the warehouse;
• as part of a mobile team, travel to locations for the direct delivery of humanitarian aid to the affected population;
• providing emergency repair assistance housing and distribution of other non-food goods;
• photo/video recording of the distribution process;
• comprehensive support during the evacuation of the population affected by hostilities, assistance in moving people and their personal belongings to places of temporary residence, evacuation transport, etc.;
• compilation of reports on the distribution and entering data into information and relevant Google forms.

III. We offer successcandidate:

• Employment contract until December 31, 2026 with the possibility of extension depending on further funding and personal work results;

• Ability to respond effectively to the challenges of war and to participate in helping the affected population.

According to the results of the preliminary selection, potential candidates will be invited to an interview.
