Head of the youth space in Molodizhniy prostir 12-21

We are a newly created public union from the team of the Olena Zelenska Foundation. We are working on the launch of a new project - the creation of a network of youth spaces throughout Ukraine.

Our the goal is to create a place for teenagers and young people where everyone can feel safe, supported, space for communication, self-expression and development. We believe that youth spaces should become centers of strength, acceptance and trust - a place where every young person can find themselves and their own.

The network of youth centers is looking for a youth space manager - a key person who will ensure effective team work, development of the space and creation of opportunities to attract and support young people.

Main duties:

• Planning the activities of the space and coordinating the work of the team;
• Participation in the formation of the team of the space (together with the team of the central office);
• Budget management, preparation of estimates, reporting and search for funding;
• Development and implementation of youth programs, events and projects;
• Establishing partnerships with educational institutions, public organizations, businesses and local communities;
• Analysis of youth and community needs, formation of relevant initiatives;
• Presentation of space at the local level, participation in external communications;
• Ensuring favorable conditions for team activities and a safe atmosphere for young people.

Mandatory requirements:

• Experience in coordinating programs or projects (preferably in a youth or public sector);
• Understanding the specifics of working with youth and teenagers;
• Knowledge of the principles of non-formal education, inclusion and psychological support;
• Skills in project management, financial planning and reporting;
• High level of communication and leadership skills;
• Initiative, organization, responsibility, empathy.
