Head of the technical department (Team Lead) in KOVALENKO.RECRUITMENT

A large manufacturing company (2000+ employees) is looking for a Technical Department Manager/Technical Lead to manage a team of design engineers and product development (equipment).
Main tasks:

• Management of the design team: setting tasks, development and motivation of the team;
• Participation in the development of new products: from concept to launch into mass production;
• Coordination of work with related departments (production, procurement, quality, service);
• Control of technical documentation, drawings and design solutions;
• Management of several projects, management of priorities, deadlines and risks;
• Focus on optimization of designs, standardization and unification of solutions;
• Search and implementation of technical improvements taking into account the cost, quality and manufacturability of production
  Requirements:
• Higher technical education;
• Work experience design engineer (mechanics, metal structures, body products, etc.);
• Management experience (management of a team of engineers/technical leader) — from 1 year;
• Experience in working with sheet metal (design, manufacturability, production limitations);
• Confident command of CAD systems (SolidWorks or similar);
• Understanding of production processes: metalworking, assembly, testing
  Systemic thinking, analytical approach, result orientation;
• Readiness to move to the west of the country
