The Danish Refugee Council (DRC)is a leading international humanitarian organization whose main objective is which is to protect, support and promote long-term solutions for displaced populations. DRB has existed in Ukraine since 2014. At the moment, more than 700 employees work in the DRB in total on the territory of Ukraine. In 2024, the DRB will continue to significantly expand to implement emergency response in the social and legal protection, livelihoods, housing reconstruction and humanitarian disarmament and peacebuilding (humanitarian demining) sectors, providing direct support to responsible individuals and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and as well as their partners. DRB will continue to develop long-term solutions, adapting them to the changing situation.
DRB is currently looking for a highly qualified The head of the urban development project group, who will join our team in Dnipro.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Manage the economic development team, including the development of the work plan, the distribution of roles and responsibilities, monitor the performance and development of team members.
Support the Economic Recovery Manager in ensuring the quality implementation of the program, including the development of appropriate operational and technical tools.
Support the Economic Recovery Manager in identifying current issues and needs on the ground Provide qualitative and quantitative data to ensure current programs are relevant to community needs.
Lead tracking and managing the progress of relevant project activities, including planning fieldwork, timelines, budgets, etc.
Support the Economic Recovery Manager in matters of budget control, forecasting, reserving funds.
Coordinate work with relevant departments and internal stakeholders.

Responsible for maintaining the quality of implementation livelihood programs, including oversight of accountability and transparency of implementation.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have a minimum of 2 years of experience implementing economic recoveryrecovery programsor in another related field, as well as in the implementation of grant activities.
