Head of the production department in Consult Business Partner

Purpose of the position

Ensuring effective, uninterrupted and high-quality work of the production unit of the military company.
Organization of the full cycle of production of military-technical products, optimization of processes, management of the team and ensuring the execution of the production plan on time and in accordance with the requirements of the defense industry.

Main responsibilities

Operational and strategic management of production

• Planning, organization and control of production processes according to technical tasks and schedules.

• Development and implementation of effective procedures, standards and regulations.

• Production cycle optimization, productivity improvement and loss reduction.

• Production budget management, cost control, preparation of optimization proposals.

Personnel management

• Team management: foremen, technologists, engineers, foremen, operators equipment.

• Ensuring the correct distribution of tasks and workload among employees.

• Control of compliance with discipline, safety techniques, labor standards.

• Selection, training, motivation and development of production personnel.

Quality control and technical supervision

• Ensuring production of products in accordance with standards of the defense industry.

• Interaction with the quality control and R&D service for product improvement.

• Control over technical maps, instructions and technological processes.

• Implementation of a quality control system at all stages of production.

Technical infrastructure and equipment

• Control operation of machines, machine tools, welding stations, CNC machines and specialized military equipment.

• Planning of repairs, maintenance, modernization and procurement of equipment.

• Interaction with suppliers, contractors, service engineers.

Interaction with internal and external divisions

• Cooperation with R&D, logistics, supply, quality department, finance.

• Participation in production planning based on orders, forecasts and government contracts.

• Ensuring transparent document flow and compliance with confidentiality and information protection requirements.

Requirements for candidate

Professional

• Experience in managing production units from 3–5 years (mechanical engineering, metal structures, electronics, military-technical products).

• Deep understanding of production processes, technologies, equipment and labor regulation.

• Experience of working with assembly products, metalworking, welding, mechanical processing or electronic components.

• Experience in production capacity planning and implementation of processimprovements.

• Proficiency in ERP/MES programs (1C/BAS, Microsoft Dynamics or similar).
