Who we are
We are launching Smart City solutions in Ukrainian cities. A city super-app that combines transport, communal services, communication with the authorities and the entire breadth of municipal services.
We are looking for a Head of Implementation to lead the process of launching CITY in cities. We need a strong organizer who knows how to manage projects, build a team and get things done in difficult bureaucratic conditions.
Role description
Your task is to guide the city through all organizational and legal stages until thousands of residents start using the service.
At the start, you personally go to the cities, work out policies of interaction and use of the application, collect feedback, train, adjust processes "on the ground", and then build your team and manage it, and already go out if necessary.
Zones responsibility
1. Organizational launch of the city
You are responsible for turning the agreement into a working project.
- Regulatory and organizational support:ensuring the passage of the necessary management solutions.
- Formation and support of contractual processes within the scope of project implementation.
- Formation and coordination of working groups from involved stakeholders.
- Coordination and control:ensuring the implementation of agreed obligations of all involved parties.
2. Building an Implementation Team
The second key challenge is scaling yourself. You have to build a department that can implement many cities at the same time.
- Recruiting: Independent search and hiring of implementation managers.
- Organization of work: Distribution of roles, creation of KPIs and areas of responsibility for employees. Creating a startup model (checklists, document templates, scripts) to quickly scale
- Training system: Building onboarding processes so that new managers can quickly get up to speed.
3. User Engagement
Launch and User Engagement Technical launch is only valuable when the product is actually used. You are responsible for the start and scaleusage.
- Offline activations Organization of placement of engagement points and materials for users in relevant offline locations.
- Communications Coordination of the launch of information and promotional activities in partner and official channels.
4. Change Management and Learning
Product implementation requires acceptance of change by all parties involved. Your role is to ensure that acceptance.
- Working with teams Interacting with key leaders and teams, explaining the value of solutions and building support at the executive level.
- Educating users Organizing training sessions and training for users who work with the system.
What is important to us
We do NOT require a technical background. You do not need to know code, SQL or database architecture.
Instead, it is critical for us:
- Strong organizational skills: system thinking, planning and execution control, ability to make decisions in conditions of uncertainty and build long-term partnerships.
- Experience in people management: You know how to hire, fire, motivate and manage a team, not just be a "senior specialist".
- Skills for working with formal processes: the ability to effectively navigate documentary and contractual procedures and bring processes to a result.
- Willingness to travel: Work requires travel during the start-up phase.
- Systems thinking: ability to structure complex and informal processes and translate them into understandable working models.
Would be a plus:
- Experienced user of Google Docs
- Experience in any CRM system and task tracking systems (funnel setup, task control).
- Ability to work with basic dashboards/reports.
