Head of department for improvement of branch processes in Nova poshta

What to do:

• act as a customer and Product Owner of the "Department" direction: form a process and software development strategy and prioritize the general backlog of tasks for IT development;
• manage the process of transformation of the results of FRD (found problems and unnecessary movements) into clear technical tasks for developers, aimed at reducing the number of physical movements of the employee, clicks and transitions between windows;
• form business processes in BPMN notations, checking them for compliance with LEAN principles and the absence of losses (Muda);
• organize validation and acceptance testing of new features before their launch on the entire network, confirming the achievement of planned speed indicators;
• initiate and support pilot projects for testing innovative solutions, new workplace formats and space ergonomics;
• monitor the development of instructions and standards necessary for the rapid implementation of changes and the correct execution of processes and the use of new functionality by staff;
• conduct an analysis of the effectiveness of implemented changes: monitoring metrics (operation time, number of errors) and calculation of the economic effect of process optimization;
• ensure cross-functional interaction with other departments (IT, operations unit) to coordinate changes and eliminate obstacles in the work of the team.

We expect from you:

• 3 years of experience in management positions in the areas of: operational management, business analysis or Product Management (preferably logistics, retail, banks);
• practical experience in applying the LEAN methodology, in particular conducting and analyzing "Photographs of the working day" (FRD) to identify time wastage;
• understanding of software development principles and experience working as a customer for IT: ability to transform business needs into clear technical tasks;
• professional knowledge of BPMN notation for modeling and optimization of business processes;
• knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel and Google Sheets) and task management systems (Jira/Confluence);
• knowledge of the English language at the level of no below Intermediate (B1);
• high analytical abilities, communication skills;
• high level of responsibility for the result of one's work.
