We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Licensing and Regulatory to lead our licensing department. In this role, you will oversee all licensing activities, ensure compliance with international regulations, and interact with regulatory bodies across multiple jurisdictions. Your mission is to develop and implement effective licensing strategies, manage a team of specialists, and coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our company’s legal standing and driving success in the online gambling sector.

Requirements:

• Higher education in Law;
• 7 years of experience in a legal field;
• 3 years in licensing, regulatory control, or legal support in the online gambling sector;
• Experience in an international environment;
• Deep knowledge of international legislation and regulations in the field of online gambling, including AML, KYC, GDPR requirements, and information security standards;
• Practical experience interacting with regulatory bodies and successfully obtaining licenses in various jurisdictions;
• Experience with regulators and licensing requirements in the following countries: Malta, Peru, Brazil, Mexico, Curacao, Anjouan, India, Bangladesh, Chile, Canada;
• Experience in project management, including planning, coordinating, and controlling task completion on time;
• Proficiency in English (Advanced level). Proficiency in Spanish will be a plus;
• Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze complex situations, propose solutions, and implement them in practice;
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the Licensing Department;
• Developing strategy and organizing the department’s work, including current employees;
• Recruiting and managing a team of specialists;
• Interacting with licensing and regulatory authorities;
• Coordinating work with structural units responsible for information security, anti-fraud systems, and game platform development;
• Monitoring and Controlling Licensing Requirements;
• Tracking changes in legislation and regulations in various jurisdictions;
• Ensuring the company’s operational activities comply with licensing authorities’ requirements;
• Developing and implementing AML, KYC, GDPR, and information security policies;
• Managing the certification process of the interactive (core) platform;
• Forming and maintaining up-to-date internal documentation (regulations, instructions, procedures);
• Interacting with companies providing nominal director and licensing services;
• Coordinating the process of obtaining and renewing licenses;
• Developing and implementing policies to ensure fair gaming principles;
• Forming global self-exclusion policies (CCRG 2022).
