Our client is a company in the FMCG sector with its own production, operating both in Ukraine and in one of the countries of the European Union. The business is growing rapidly and transitioning from an operational management model to a structured, systemic organization.
The company is currently undergoing a relaunch of key functions, including HR, with a focus on transparency, cost control and business strategy support.
In this regard, the position of Head of Compensation and Benefits has been opened - a key expert and managerial role in the HR function.
This role is about building and managing a reward system that directly affects attraction, retention and motivation of personnel, as well as on the financial efficiency of the business.
Purpose of the position
To build a competitive, fair and financially sound compensation and benefits system that:
supports the company's business goals;
ensures internal equity and external competitiveness;
is transparent, manageable and scalable.
Key areas of responsibility
Compensation and benefits strategy
development and implementation of C&B strategy in accordance with business strategy;
formation of remuneration policies, bonuses, bonuses, long-term motivation;
ensuring a balance between market, budget and internal equity.
Grading and evaluating positions
building and maintaining a grading system;
conducting job evaluation;
control of the correctness of job levels and compensation ranges.
FOP management and budgeting
support of salary review, annual increase processes;
analysis of the impact of changes in remuneration on financial indicators.
Bonus and variable systems
development of KPI-oriented bonus systems;
support of bonus schemes for production, commercial and office divisions;
control of the correctness of calculations and payments.
Benefits and non-material motivation
management of benefits programs (insurance, training, benefits);
evaluation of effectiveness and profitability of programs;
interaction with providers and cost optimization.
Analytics and benchmarking
participation in salary surveys and market reviews;
preparation of analytical reports for management;
HR analytics: pay equity, turnover, cost per employee, etc.
Legal compliance and team management
ensuring compliance with labor and tax legislation;
interaction with finance and legal functions;
C&B team management, competence development and result control.
Candidate profile
Experience:
5+ years in compensation & benefits;
at least 2 years in a managerial or expert leadership role;
experience in the implementation or transformation of reward systems.
Professional competencies:
deep expertise in C&B, grading, job evaluation;
FOP budgeting and financial analytics;
knowledge of labor and tax legislation;
confident command of Excel / HRIS / analytical tools.
Personal qualities:
strategic and systemic thinking;
analytical and attention to detail;
ability to argue and influence management decisions;
confidentiality and managerial maturity.
