Head / Head of the psychological program (0.5 rates) in Karitas-Spes Ukrayina

Caritas?Spes Ukraine is a charitable organization that provides assistance to people in difficult life circumstances. As part of the new HOPE project, we are launching a psychological support program, in particular for evacuees and vulnerable population groups.

Purpose of the position:Implementation and development of the psychological program of the HOPE project, coordinating the work of a team of psychologists and ensuring the quality of psychological assistance.

Main duties:

• Development of the concept and structure of the psychological program (target audience, methods, duration, resources)
• Planning and coordination of program activities (group sessions, trainings, workshops)
• Formation and management of a team of psychologists
• Conducting instructions and methodological support of the team
• Quality control of psychological sessions, internal monitoring
• Analysis of participants’ needs and adaptation of the program
• Preparation regular reporting on the project
• Interaction with other units of the organization, partners and donors
• Participation in strategic planning of program development

Requirements for the candidate:

Education:

• Higher education (bachelor or master) in the field of psychology

Experience:

• Experience of working in the field of psychological assistance from 2 years
• More than 10 years of experience and/or management experience will be an advantage
• Experience of working with evacuated or vulnerable groups is a big plus

Professional skills:

• Providing individual and group psychological assistance
• Development of programs for the needs of target groups
• Team management, planning and organization of work
• Preparation of graphs, reports, analytical materials

Technical skills:

• A confident user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365

Languages:

• English - preferably at the level A1–A2

Personal qualities:

• Responsibility, punctuality, structure
• Ability to communicate tolerantly and empathetically
• Orientation on the values of humanitarian aid
