Financial business analyst in dok.ua

We are dok.ua— an online store of auto parts and auto goods in Ukraine. 

We are growing, helping the Armed Forces, we believe in Ukraine and we want to develop a Ukrainian product with the best specialists. We have created a financial analysis department and are currently looking for a Financial Business Analyst.  BI

What will need to be done:

1. Financial planning and forecasting

• calculate how much the company can earn and spend in the future;
• build forecasts of income, expenses and cash flow, taking into account seasonality and advertising activities;
• analyze sales data by categories, brands and individual goods.

2. Analysis of marketing and advertising

• evaluate how effectively advertising works (whether the invested funds are paid off);
• give recommendations on how to distribute the advertising budget more profitably.

3. Analytics and report preparation

• prepare reports on profitability and business efficiency;
• help in pricing and analyze how they affect sales;
• calculate whether investment projects are profitable for the company.

Distribution of working time

• 60% of the time — analysis of the financial performance of the company's divisions. Strong SQL and Excel skills are required.
• 40% of time is creating analytical findings and algorithms to help management make decisions. You will see how your ideas and hypotheses affect the business.

We are looking for a person who:

• already worked as a financial business analyst and has practical experience;
• easily works with large volumes of data and knows how to draw conclusions from them;
• has experience with analytical tools (Power BI will be a plus);
• can write SQL queries;
• understands how to analyze marketing effectiveness;
• can understandand clearly explain the results of the work and give recommendations.
