We are looking for an organized and responsible professional to join our team in Kharkiv to support the implementation of Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) programs. The primary goal of this role is to coordinate the beneficiary registration process, work with databases, and ensure effective communication with people in need of assistance

General information:

Organization: Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH), Warsaw based international non-governmental organization with representation office in Ukraine

Position: Cash & Voucher (CVA) Assistant

Location: One vacant for each of the following locations

Kharkiv with visits to project locations

Job terms: full-time

Duration: 3 months with a possibility of extension depending on the availability of funds and results of performance

About PAH:

Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH) is an international non-governmental organization which since 1992 has been providing humanitarian and development help worldwide. So far, the interventions have been carried out in 46 different countries. By possessing long-standing expertise in the implementation of projects in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Food Security and Livelihoods, as well as Nutrition and Education, PAH concentrates its global activities on ensuring sustainable and stable development of regions suffering from the consequences of armed conflicts, natural disasters and other humanitarian crises.

PAH has been present in Ukraine since 2015 delivering humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable of the conflict-affected population. PAH provides assistance to internally displaced people, elderly and single mothers, working in the sectors of food security protection and livelihoods. PAH Ukraine is currently expanding programming from humanitarian to both early recovery and development-oriented interventions that provide sustainable livelihoods opportunities to the affected population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registration Organization: Coordination of the registration process for cash assistance applicants in both online and offline formats.
  • Registration Site Management: Organization of registration locations and coordination of field registrars' activities.
  • Data Management: Utilizing advanced Excel skills for the verification, validation, and maintenance of the beneficiary database.
  • Beneficiary Support: Assisting potential and current recipients with online registration and providing guidance throughout the entire process.
  • Field Work: Conducting regular visits to registration sites to monitor program implementation, including activities carried out by partner organizations.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining program documentation and preparing reports regarding the assistance provided.
  • Team Collaboration: Providing comprehensive support to the CVA Officer and cooperating with the MEAL team and Operations department.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel Proficiency (strong skills in data processing and management).
  • Experience in organizing registration processes or general administration.
  • Experience working with personal databases and ensuring data integrity.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse population groups.
  • Readiness for field travel within the Kharkiv region to monitor project activities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage tasks in a dynamic environment.
