Financial Analyst / FP&A needed for trading company (bentonite, import-export)

Company description:
Polish trading company imports bentonite from Ukraine and sells it mainly in Poland, as well as in other EU markets. A financial analyst is needed to analyze activities for 2025 and build a financial model for 2026.

Main tasks:

• Analysis of financial indicators for 2025:
  • revenue by customers and countries (main market — Poland);
  • margin by products;
  • import costs (logistics, customs, composition);
  • cost structure of purchases from Ukraine.

• Building a financial model for 2026:
  • monthly P&L;
  • Cash Flow;
  • management Balance Sheet;
  • scenarios: basic, optimistic and stress.

• Model of warehouse accounting:
  • movement of goods, lots, balances;
  • cost calculation (FIFO or weighted average);
  • integration with margin and P&L.

• Preparation of management analytics and recommendations:
  • margin by products;
  • markup, logistics costs, turnover inventory;
  • key KPIs and areas for optimization.

Candidate requirements:

• Experience in financial analysis, FP&A or management accounting.

• Desirable experience in trading companies, distribution or import-export businesses.

• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets (Power BI will be a plus).

• Ability to work with incomplete data and build a structure from scratch.

• Preference for candidates with experience of working with EU or Polish companies.
