Congratulations!
If you are one of those financial analysts who do not like "pretty reports for the sake of reports", but a strong managed business where numbers help the owner to make decisions - we may have a very right match.

We are a trade and distribution company in the field of construction materials (aerated concrete, bricks, ceramic blocks, dry mixes, etc.). The business is working, has good growth potential, but we want more: transparency, manageability, margin and predictability.
And that is why we are looking for a financial analyst who will not be an “accounting person” for the owner, but a profit partner.

This is a position with direct reporting to the owner and real influence: on pricing, costs, working capital, financial discipline and strategic solutions.

What will be your main “meaning” in this role:
Build a transparent, managerial financial system that:
shows the real picture of the business (not “how it turned out at the end of the month”),
allows you to manage margins and money,
removes the chaos from accounts receivable/inventory/expenses,
helps scale without loss controllability.

Key tasks (and what it looks like in real life)
1)Financial management “in manageable numbers”
Implementation of management accounting: P&L / Cash Flow / Balance.
Liquidity and cash flow control.
Working capital management: debtor / creditor / inventory.
Cost control: logistics, discounts, bonus programs - so that the margin does not "melt away imperceptibly". B2B-distribution.
Optimization of costs — without loss of turnover, with reasonable priorities.

3) Planning, budgeting, scenarios.
Financial planning (month/quarter/year) and plan-fact control.
Forecast of cash gaps (cash gap) and a clear action plan "what do we do if...".
Scenario models: growth / crisis / investments.

4) Reporting and analytics for the owner.
Management reports “in essence”: what happened, why, what we do, what is the effect in money.
Analytics for strategic decisions.
Control of the correctness of accounting and tax accounting together with accounting (we do not expect the CFO to “do the accounting himself”, but we expect control and standards).

5) Strategy and development.
Participation in scaling: new warehouses/directions/branches — taking into account the economy.
Financial models for loans/investments/leasing.
Interaction with banks and financial partners.
How we envision success in the first 90 days

To make it clear to you, "why are you being hired":
First month: diagnosis, financial picture, risks, "where the margin flows", reporting structure for the owner.
Second month: management outline (P&L/CF/Balance), accounts receivable/inventory rules, liquidity forecast.
Third month: budgeting + plan-fact, the first decisions that give a tangible financial result.

Who we want to see in this role
You suit us if:

you have experience as a financial analyst in trade ordistribution (B2B) (building materials/FMCG is a big plus);
have actually worked with management accounting, financial analysis, cash flow and working capital;
have cases: increased the margin, brought stock to consciousness, put order in the accounts receivable;
work confidently in Excel/Google Sheets, know the tax field of Ukraine;
can speak with the owner briefly and “the language of money”;
you like systematicity and can turn “manual management” into a managed system.

It will be an additional advantage
experience in a business with a turnover of $5 million/year;
implementation of ERP/CRM (1C/BAS/Odoo/SAP, etc.);
anti-crisis management;
experience with loans, leasing, factoring;
participation in scaling (warehouses, branches, new directions).

What we offer:
Competitive payment: fixed + bonus for the result (tied to indicators that you really influence).
Work "not in the shadows" — the CFO here influences decisions and profits.
Direct communication with the owner without unnecessary bureaucracy.
Format: Kyiv, office/hybrid.

If you if you read this and think: "Yes, I want to put the finances in order and manage the profit, not just close the month" - send your resume.
We will carefully review your feedback and get back to you with feedback: either we will invite you to talk, or we will tell you honestly if we don't match now.
