"Tenth of April" is a public organization that implements the UNHCR program aimed at improving the protection of internally displaced persons (IDPs), the population affected by the conflict, by providing legal, social, psychological and humanitarian assistance, promoting legislative changes, and involving communities to responding to emergency situations and finding long-term solutions, in cooperation with authorities and supporting their potential, with a special emphasis on the most vulnerable groups.

Responsibilities:

The Facilitator, in close cooperation with the Direction Coordinator, implements educational, information and coordination activities in the Pervomai community of the Mykolaiv region, namely:

• Conducting a campaign to raise awareness in the community and organization of referrals for the population in situations related to gender-based violence.
• Distribution of informational materials on the prevention and countermeasures of illegal activities, tand opportunities to receive services in the community.
• Informing the community about available services and events through word of mouth, messages on available social networks, and in-person meetings.
• Interacting with local authorities, community organizations and other stakeholders to obtain updates on new or changed services.
• Organizing short informal information sessions for small groups people.
• Development of a map of services of organizations that provide services in the field of public health in the community

Requirements for the candidate:

• Higher education in the humanitarian direction (not lower than a degree Bachelor's degree)
• Experience of working in public organizations or experience of helping the affected population
• Understanding the basic principles of work with the public sector and willingness to improve knowledge in this area
• Communicativeness, the ability to quickly find a common language with people of different age categories and with different needs.
• Fluent command of the Ukrainian language.
• Work skills with a computer (must be MS Office).
• Empathy and the ability to provide emotional support in difficult situations.
• Willingness to provide services under a CPC contract or under a civil law contract.
