"Tenth of April" is a public organization that works to improve the protection of the population affected by the conflict by providing legal, social, psychological and humanitarian assistance, promotes legislative changes, involves communities in responding to emergency situations and finding long-term solutions, in cooperation with authorities and by supporting their potential, with a special emphasis on the most vulnerable groups.
In partnership with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), with the financial support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (UHF), we are implementing a project aimed at ensuring safe, dignified and affordable reception and accommodation conditions for evacuees and internally displaced persons with mobility impairments, older people and persons with disabilities in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

Duties and responsibilities:
Provide individualized support to the elderly and people with disabilities to improve their well-being and access to social, medical and humanitarian services.
Assist beneficiaries with daily tasks, including organizing escorts to healthcare facilities, pharmacies, financial institutions and other services as needed.
Ensure communication and coordination with other project specialists, authorities, partners and relatives of beneficiaries for effective service delivery.
Organize and accompany outdoor walks, as well as conduct social events and leisure activities to improve the psychological state of the beneficiaries and their social integration.
Help beneficiaries use modern means of communication (smartphones, messengers, video communication) to communicate with family and friends.
Collect, verify and document information about the needs of beneficiaries and violations of their rights, timely inform the coordinator of social facilitators about identified cases for response.
Keep activity records, prepare reports and other necessary documentation in accordance with project requirements.
Participate in the planning and implementation of activities aimed at improving the sustainability of the beneficiaries and community development.
Participate in work meetings, meetings and training events to improve professional qualifications.
Perform other tasks within the project as needed.
Qualification requirements for the candidate:
The candidate must be communicative and easily find a common language with people of different age groups and with different needs.
It is important to have basic skills in working with gadgets and online services for making video calls and searching for information.
Responsibility, honesty and reliability are expected in solving household issues of wards.
Physical endurance and the ability to be accompanied on walks is required, as well as, if necessary, help with movement.
Empathy and the ability to provide emotional support in difficult situations are important.
Work experience in the field of social support of the population, especially the elderly and persons with disabilities, is welcome.
Understanding the needs of vulnerable population groups and the skills to work with them.
Terms of service:
A flexible work schedule is provided with the possibility of adaptation to the needs of the ward.
Possible periodic meetings with wards or remote support through means of communication.
