BF "Right to Protection" (Foundation) is a charitable foundation operating in partnership with HIAS, a global organization providing aid to refugees. The Foundation focuses on providing assistance to internally displaced persons, persons in need of international protection, stateless persons, high-risk stateless persons and undocumented persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and implements programs for the provision of direct legal assistance throughout Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal framework, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights. 

One of the main focuses of the work of the BF "Right to Protection" is the integration of IDPs into new communities for the development of both the displaced themselves and the settlements that host them. Within the framework of the Project and the Program, educational courses are held for IDPs and the population affected by military actions. These courses help participants gain knowledge for employment or start/restart their own business, master modern digital tools and manage finances effectively. Also among the activities are free business consultations, as well as a lawyer and a psychologist-coach. 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

BF "Right to Defense" is a partner of the Response Consortium within the framework of the implementation of the project "Provision of multi-sectoral humanitarian aid to the population affected by the conflict in Ukraine (2023-2026)" with the financial support of the US Government. The Response Consortium is implementing a multi-sectoral humanitarian aid program for the population affected by the conflict in Ukraine. The Goal is to strengthen people's resilience and ability to overcome the consequences of war through timely access to multisectoral support and quality information management. The target groups are internally displaced persons, people affected by the war, returnees after the reduction of the intensity of hostilities, with the priority of supporting the elderly and persons with disabilities.

The geography of implementation is urban and remote rural communities of the Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions. The component of increasing economic capacity is implemented in Poltava, Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

BF "Pravo na skhet" is looking for a candidate for the position of Entrepreneurship training manager in the city of Poltava (Poltava region).

DUTIES AND DUTIES:

  • Together with by the project and program team, organization and support of business trainings and other events for project participants, providing mentoring, organizational and coordination support for participants in project activities;
  • Participation in the development of a calendar plan of project activities, monitoring the effectiveness of the implementation of planned activities and adjusting the plan as necessary;
  • Communication with state institutions and partner organizations in the project region, coordination with them of contacts;
  • Communication and coordination of activities with involved trainers, experts and other partners;
  • Coordination of the implementation of activities in the specified region, ensuring the effective implementation of all project activities;
  • Ensuring complete, thorough, accurate documentation in a proper manner in accordance with legal norms and rules of ethics;
  • Ensuring the accuracy, content and timeliness of statistical and analytical reports, and other relevant working documents;
  • Understanding and following the Code of Conduct and other policies of the Foundation.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Higher education in the field of economics or socio-economic development, business administration, social work, psychology or another related field;
  • Experience in the field of entrepreneurship, sales, marketing, human resources or a related field;
  • Experience in organizing and supporting group training events;
  • Experience in international donor projects that related to humanitarian aid and charity;
  • Experience of working with online tools for project management;
  • Knowledge of computer programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Fluent command of the Ukrainian language (proficiency in English will be an advantage);    
  • Ability to be involved in weekend work in an offline format;
  • Ability to analyze information, identify problems and develop solutions. Attention to detail;
  • High communication skills, ability to communicate effectively and cooperate with different people. Diplomacy and cultural sensitivity;
  • Fair treatment of all people, absence of bias and discrimination. Adherence to the principles of gender equality and zero tolerance for sexual harassment.
