BF "Right to Protection" (Foundation) is a charitable foundation operating in partnership with HIAS, a global organization providing assistance to refugees. The Foundation focuses on providing assistance to internally displaced persons, persons in need of international protection, stateless persons, high-risk stateless persons and undocumented persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and implements programs for the provision of direct legal assistance throughout Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal framework, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.
Within the framework of the Project and the Program, educational courses are held for IDPs and the population affected by military actions. These courses help participants gain employment skills or start/restart their own business, master modern digital tools and manage finances effectively. Also among the activities are free business consultations, as well as a lawyer and a psychologist-coach.PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The BF "Right to Protection" is a partner of the Response Consortium within the framework of the implementation of the project "Provision of multi-sectoral humanitarian aid to the population affected by the conflict in Ukraine (2023-2026)" with the financial support of the US Government. The Response Consortium is implementing a multi-sectoral humanitarian aid program for the population affected by the conflict in Ukraine. The Goal is to strengthen people's resilience and ability to overcome the consequences of war through timely access to multisectoral support and quality information management. The target groups are internally displaced persons, people affected by the war, returnees after the reduction of the intensity of hostilities, with the priority of supporting the elderly and persons with disabilities.
The geography of implementation is urban and remote rural communities of the Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions. The component of increasing economic capacity is implemented in Poltava, Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
BF "Right to Defense" is looking for a candidate for the position ofEntrepreneurship training manager in Odessa (Odesa Region).
DUTIES AND TASKS:
Together with the project and program team, organization and support of business trainings and other events for project participants, provision of mentoring, organizational and coordination support for project activity participants;
Participation in the development of a calendar plan of project activities, tracking the effectiveness of the planned activities and adjusting the plan as needed;
Communication with state institutions and partner organizations in the project region, establishing contacts with them;
Communication and coordination of activities with involved trainers, experts and other partners;
Coordinating the implementation of activities in the specified region, ensuring the effective implementation of all project activities;
Ensuring complete, thorough, accurate documentation in a proper manner in accordance with legal norms and ethical rules;
Ensuring the accuracy, content and timeliness of statistical and analytical reports and other relevant working documents;
Understanding and following the Code of Conduct and other policies of the Foundation.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Higher education in economics or socio-economic development, business administration, social work, psychology or other related field;
Experience in entrepreneurship, sales, marketing, human resources or a related field;
Experience in organizing and supporting group educational events;
Work experience in international donor projects related to humanitarian aid and charity;
Experience with online project management tools;
Knowledge of computer programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
Fluency in the Ukrainian language (proficiency in English will be an advantage);
The possibility of involvement in work on weekends in an offline format;
Ability to analyze information, identify problems and develop solutions. Attention to detail;
High communication skills, ability to effectively communicate and cooperate with different people. Diplomacy and cultural sensitivity;
Fair treatment of all people, lack of bias and discrimination. Adherence to the principles of gender equality and zero tolerance for sexual harassment.
