Engagement Leader, Business Development Lead in Staffman LLC

Open vacancy for the position of Engagement Leader / Business Development Lead of the Kyiv office of an international company in the field of research, monitoring and evaluation.

We are looking for an experienced leader who can lead the office in Kyiv, manage a portfolio of analytical and research projects, represent the company on the market and develop partnerships.

Main Responsibilities

1. Project Management

• Full management research, M&E and analytical projects - from design and planning to analysis, preparation of reports and presentations for clients.

• Development of methodologies, tools, samples and analytical approaches.

• Quality control of data collection and analysis (quantitative and qualitative).

• Preparation of strategic, meaningful reports from recommendations.

• Ensuring the timeliness and high quality of all results.

• Mentoring the team (mainly the Kyiv office).

2. Business development

• Identification of new opportunities and development of partnerships in Ukraine and the region.

• Preparation of technical and financial proposals for international organizations and donors.

• Development of long-term relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders. Analytical and strategic leadership in key topics. 3. Operational management

  • Interaction with a lawyer and financial manager to ensure compliance with Ukrainian legislation.

  • Organization of office work and support of corporate culture.

  • Coordination of administrative processes and internal team initiatives.

  Required experience

  • Minimum 7 years of work with international organizations, research institutions or consulting companies.

  • Experience in team management.

  • Project implementation experience in the field of development, humanitarian sector, research or M&E.

  • Successful interaction with donors (EU, FCDO, USAID, GAC, Norad, etc.), UN agencies and/or Ukrainian state institutions.

  • Experience in preparing proposals and participating in tenders.

  • Skills in qualitative and quantitative analysis, proficiency with tools (Stata, R, SPSS, NVivo, Python, etc. is an advantage).

  • Proficient user of Excel, PowerPoint; experience with Tableau or PowerBI will be a plus.

  • Master's degree (social sciences, economics, law, political science, international development or related fields).

  • Fluent Ukrainian, high level of English.
