Energy market analysis manager in EY (Ernst & Young)

EY is one of the world's largest international companies, which for more than 170 years has been providing professional services in the fields of audit, consulting, strategy, deal support, as well as taxation and law in 150 countries around the world.

We are expanding the energy (O&G and P&U) team in the direction of strategy development and transaction support with a focus on investment projects in the oil, gas and electricity sectors and invite experienced specialists of the appropriate profile to join us.

As part of our practice, you will have the opportunity to cooperate with an international team of experts from the EY global network, providing services to clients from various sectors of the economy. 

Your responsibilities:

• Formation of methodological approaches to the implementation of projects depending on their goals and specifics.
• Building effective communication with clients (local and international): agreement on the scope of work and methodological approach, management of expectations, presentation of results.
• Management of project teams: distribution of tasks, quality control of execution, consolidation of results
• Organization of interaction with other EY practices in Ukraine and abroad to achieve synergy in the implementation of complex projects.
• Conducting market research, preparing presentations, reports, financial models, technical and economic justifications and memoranda.

Requirements:

• In-depth sectoral expertise in energy (O&G, P&U). Understanding of government policy, regulatory environment in relevant sectors, as well as project support.
• Higher education in economics, finance, business, technology, engineering, mathematics or systems analysis.
• From 3-5 years of relevant experience in energy, finance, investment, project analysis. 
• Understanding the mechanisms of analysis and implementation of investment projects.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
• English language from B2 level
• High level of mastery of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
• Orientation on results, multitasking.

Will be advantages - but optional compliance with all requirements:

• In-depth knowledge in the field of business evaluation, financial modeling, investment analysis.
• Practical experience in preparing or supporting investment projects (public or private).
• Experience in project financing, structuring deals in the field of infrastructure and energy.
• Understanding commercial models of public-private partnerships (PPP), mergers and acquisitions (M&A), procurement mechanisms and implementation of infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience in Big4, management consulting, investment companies, investment departments of the real sector.
• Experience of cooperation with MFIs, donors or international companies.
• Availability of national or international professional certifications in the fields of corporate finance, business evaluation, project analysis, PPP, project management.
