GO "Southern Development Strategy" (SDS) looking for employment and business support experts" decoration: none">The approach of our organization is the development and piloting of innovative solutions in humanitarian response and development. We implement multidisciplinary projects with Unicef, Acted, the joint office of DanChurchAid & Norwegian Church Aid in Ukraine, CORE Response, Polish Humanitarian Action and others. 

They concern: (1) restoration of access to water, heat and gas supply;  (2) light and medium home repairs; (3) emergency support in kind, cash and voucher forms; (3) legal assistance on issues of housing, land and property; (4) creation of new economic opportunities; (5) financing and development of local public initiatives. 

Project activities are carried out in 11 regions of Ukraine. The organization has three offices: in Kyiv, Dnipro and Mykolaiv.

We are looking for 2 employment and business support experts for a six-month project in the Dnipropetrovsk region. They will work closely with the Project Coordinator of the Dnipro office. 

Terms and conditions:

- a contract with the FOP of the 3rd group or under a civil law contract for 6 months.

- Remuneration 49,000 hryvnias (FOP 3 group after payment of a single tax) or 30,200 hryvnias (civil law contract) . 

- Office in the city center of Dnipro (Shevchenko Street); >

- Project type of employment with a hybrid nature of work;

< p>- Office hours are from 09:00 to 18:00 with a lunch break.

< span style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">- Trial period of 1 month;

Prospects of permanent contract Economic recovery/Livelihood/SME growth expert, investment in professional training.

Main duties:

1. Establishing partnership relations and/or signing memorandums with the Dnipro Regional Military Administration, the Dnipro City Council, the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Employment Center, the Dnipropetrovsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry, associations of entrepreneurs of the Dnipropetrovsk Region and the city of Dnipro, local large and medium-sized businesses.< /p>

2. Preparation of information materials on programs: (a) retraining and training of IDPs and other vulnerable categories of the population; (b) state compensation for employment of IDPs; (c) state and international grant and credit programs for starting or expanding one's own business; (c) state and international grant programs for the opening, restoration or expansion of agricultural activities, including farms. 

3. Development of programs of public events and their organization: (a) Startup accelerator for opening or expanding one's own business; (b) School of improving agribusiness skills; (c) School of entrepreneurs regarding the possibilities of obtaining state compensation for the employment of IDPs; (d) Awareness-raising trainings regarding participation in the state retraining program, facilitating the procedure for obtaining higher education for IDPs living in compact housing (MCP) of Dnipropetrovsk region. 

4. Search for responsible, qualified trainers and mentors with systematized life hacks for successful cases related to: (a) receiving assistance under state programs (ieWork and Self-employment, State Agrarian Register) and state vouchers for obtaining professional technical education, admission to higher education institutions; (b) specialized issues related to the opening and development of one's own business, the efficiency of small-scale agriculture; (c) receiving compensations and tax benefits for employment of IDPs.

5. Involvement of motivated participants among the target groups (IDPs, entrepreneurs and farmers affected by the consequences of the war) to participate in educational, training and competitive activities of the project. 

6. Organization and selection of applicants and their projects on a competitive basis. 

7. Development of technical tasks, selection rules and procedures, mentoring support related to project activities. 

8. Reporting in cooperation with the MEAL department of the Organization for the conducted and planned activities to the donor. 

9. Interaction with the Procurement and Finance departments in the field of holding schools and other mass events, paying fees to mentors, etc.to renters, determination of bank accounts for crediting funds of grants of all kinds for entrepreneurs in order to make payments in a timely manner. 

10. Participation in the development of the Organization's Program for economic growth, means of livelihood, support for entrepreneurship, development of agriculture, employment of IDPs.  

11. Other additional requests are possible as needed. 

Qualification requirements:

- Higher education in management, economics, humanitarian or technical sciences.

- Experience from 2 years in a position (or confirmed by relevant contracts) with similar functionality in the public and private sectors, international development/humanitarian response, local self-government and state administration, etc.

- Advanced oral and written communication skills Ukrainian and English (B1) languages ​​for preparing reports and correspondence.

- Experience work with information and legal resources (Liga:Law) and compliance tools (Youcontrol, Opendatabot).

- Advanced current expertise in the topics of state and international grant support for business and/or employment of IDPs and/or increasing the efficiency of small-scale agriculture, etc.

- Meticulous attention to numbers and strong analytical skills.

- Confident use of spreadsheet programs (Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel).

- Responsible attitude to deadlines, procedures, rules and quality of the result.

- Developed emotional intelligence to maintain a healthy atmosphere in the team.

- The desire to quickly learn new experiences, topics, approaches in work.

- Personal interest in the topics of combating the consequences of war, engaging citizens, rebuilding communities, economic development, and solving socially important problems.
