Editor of the "Energy and Heavy Industries" section in Ligamedia

Ligamedia is an independent media holding of Ukraine, which unites the business publication LIGA.net and the advertising agency ADLOVE.

In connection with the development of editorial areas, we are looking for an editor of the "Energy and heavy industries" area - a person who knows how to work with complex topics, explain system processes and form quality agenda.

What you will do:

• Seek and generate ideas for materials on the topics of energy, gas, electricity, industry and government regulation.

• Independently write and edit materials from colleagues for LIGA.net in various formats: news, analytics, debriefings, interviews, explanatory texts.

• Work with sources, experts, market representatives and regulators.

• Monitor key industry events: regulatory decisions, market changes, infrastructural and industrial processes.

• Attend relevant events, forums, press conferences.

Required experience:

• Experience in 3 years or more in journalism (preferably in energy, industry, economy or business topics).

• Experience in writing and/or editing analytical materials.

• Understanding the specifics of the energy sector and heavy industries:
  energy markets, government policy and regulation, major players, infrastructure, exports, transformation of industries.

• Skills quickly navigate complex topics and work with numbers and facts.

• Promptness, responsibility and editorial attention.
