Purpose of the position: The leading specialist in data collection, processing and reporting is responsible in the region entrusted to him for the coordination and support of the main specialists in management of emergency situations and the main experts on interaction with communities on the issues of reducing risks in emergency situations and civil protection of the regional organization of the TCM.
Main duties:
- Coordination and technical support of the regional organizations of the TCM in relation to the collection, analysis and reporting from the direction of management NS.
- Providing advice to employees of regional organizations on correct reporting.
- Controlling the deadlines for submitting reports from the organizations of the TCHHU.
- Coordinating with Movement partners, employees of other departments and divisions TCHHU at the national and regional levels, by other organizations, services, local authorities related to the activities of emergency management.
- Creation of reporting algorithms for the use of material reserves in the event of an emergency.
- Conducting training sessions on reporting for regional specialists and volunteers with direction of emergency management.
- Control of the processes of selection and training of regional specialists.
- Working visits to the organizations of the TCHHU and support ofspecialists on the ground.
- Collection and assessment of needs and additional information from TCHHU organizations regarding the areas of activity of the emergency management department.
- Providing reports on the activities of the region to the head of the sector for collection, data processing and reporting upon request
- Collection of data and reporting in the NC, filling out forms in accordance with the algorithm of information exchange during emergencies.
- Participation in the creation of instructions for reporting the actions of individual groups, departments and units in the event of emergencies.
- Participation in the implementation of the measures prescribed in the memoranda.
- Ownership of the TCHU response algorithms at different levels of management.
- Interaction with state and local authorities, civil protection services in matters of civil protection.
- Close cooperation with all participants of preparation, recovery and response to emergencies (SRPP, OO, OVA, DSNS and other external and internal representatives).
- Performance of other tasks from the Head of the sector related to the activities of the direction of emergency management.
- Participation in the development of documents that regulate the work of the TCHU on issues that are within the competence of the Sector.
- Participation in the development of proposals to the management of the TCHU on issues that are within the competence of the Sector.
Responsibilities:
- Actively work to achieve the goals of the THU.
- Adhere to the principles of the Red Cross movement and work in accordance with them.
- Perform any other work-related tasks and tasks duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements for the candidate:
- Higher education; post-graduate qualification in the field of civil protection, ecology or related areas is desirable.
- Experience in teaching or conducting trainings.
- Experience in the field of humanitarian aid or cooperation with humanitarian organizations; civil defense experience would be an advantage.
- Experience with databases and beneficiaries (preferred).
- Proficient user of MS Office; knowledge of graphic editors is an advantage.
- A driver's license is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in interacting with different groups of people; tact and diplomacy.
- Developed organizational skills, ability to work independently and in a team, quick adaptation.
- Attention, ability to learn quickly, stress resistance (preferred).
- Skills in preparing reports, working with a large amount of information and maintaining documentation.
- Privacy.
- Proficiency in English is preferred.
