Save Ukraine is one of the largest charitable foundations in Ukraine, recognized by Forbes Ukraine. It is the country's leading humanitarian organization focused on supporting families in difficult circumstances.

Founded in 2014, the organization works to protect children and families affected by war. Our efforts are aimed at helping the most vulnerable Ukrainians — in particular, orphans, children with disabilities, internally displaced persons and people who have survived violence.

We evacuate families from active combat zones and temporarily occupied territories. Save Ukraine is the first humanitarian organization that regularly conducts rescue missions to return children who have been forcibly deported to Russia.

We are currently looking for a director / editor to cover stories related to war and armed conflict, with a deep understanding of ethical standards and safety principles when working with vulnerable groups, including children and families affected by war.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing creative video content concepts, finding visual solutions and storytelling that reinforce the organization's messages
  • Writing scripts, ideas and storyboards for social, image and informational videos
  • Shooting direction: planning scenes, work with characters, formation of visual drama and narrative
  • Adaptation of video content for social networks and international audiences (short formats, vertical video, subtitles, English and multilingual versions)
  • Generation of ideas for viral, situational and creative content in cooperation with SMM and communication team
  • Participation in the development of creative campaigns, special projects and visual formats that strengthen the recognition of the organization
  • Ensuring compliance of brand book video materials with ethical standards and principles of sensitive communication
  • Quality control of the final video product, the integrity of the creative concept and compliance with production deadlines

Requirements:

  • Work experience in PR, journalism or communications

  • Knowledge of English will be an advantage.

  • Awareness of digital security principles.

We offer:

  • Work in a dynamic and creative team, that changes lives and helps rebuild the future of Ukraine.

  • Hybrid work format and competitive salary.

  • Opportunity to shape the international image of the fund and attract resources for an important humanitarian mission.

  • Cooperation with empathetic colleagues and inspiring leaders who support you in achieving important goals.
