Who are we?

We are Direct Help, a charitable foundation that has been helping Ukraine since the first days of the war. We implement dozens of parallel projects - humanitarian, digital, medical, logistics - and we need a stable, secure and scalable infrastructure that will work without failures.

This is where we need you.

Who are we looking for? We are looking for a DevOps engineer to help develop and maintain the foundation's infrastructure: automation, monitoring, CI/CD and logging.

Your tasks:

  • Creation and maintenance of infrastructure using Terraform;

  • Working with Microsoft Azure, configuring services and environments;

  • Setting up error and performance monitoring systems (Sentry or similar);

  • Creating dashboards and alerts for proactive problem detection;

  • Building a centralized logging system (ELK / Loki / Splunk);

  • Settings for collection, aggregation and analysis of logs;

  • Working with Docker — creating a Dockerfile, optimizing images;

  • Configuring CI/CD in GitHub Actions;

  • Implementation of continuous deployment, blue-green strategies and deployment automation;

  • Automation of testing and deployment processes;

  • Basic work with SQL and NoSQL databases;

  • Configuring backup & recovery strategies for fund systems.

We are looking for a person who:

  • has experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure;

  • understands metrics, tracing, application profiling;

  • writes clean, clear configurations and cares about security;

  • can independently diagnose and eliminate problems;

  • organized, responsible and ready to work in a team;

  • wants to get involved in projects that have a real impact.

Will be an advantage:

  • contributions to open-source;

  • participation in technical conferences or meetups;

  • own pet projects or articles on technical topics.

What you will get:

  • Experience of working with the infrastructure of a real social project;

  • Opportunity to independently influence the architecture and technical solutions;

  • Live cases in the portfolio and recommendations;

  • A team of like-minded people, where your work makes sense and brings real benefit.
