The Right to Protection, CF
BF "Right to Protection" (hereinafter - the Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), persons affected by war, persons in need of international protection, persons without citizenship, persons at increased risk of statelessness and persons without documents. Since the beginning of the military invasion in Eastern Ukraine, the Foundation has been monitoring the situation of IDP rights protection, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Today, the Fund works in almost all regional centers and communities within the respective regions.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Under the leadership of the regional coordinator of the protection of IDPs and the affected population, it ensures operational implementation protection program activities in Odesa region. Coordinates the work of field workers, is responsible for the quality of execution, team support, monitoring compliance with standards and SOPs, operational reporting and communication with other programs. Is the main contact person between the regional coordinator and the teams of the protection program in Odesa region. Performs the duties of the regional coordinator for the protection of IDPs and the affected population during his/her absence. In agreement with the chief expert on regional coordination, performs the functions of the representative of the BF "Right to Protection" in the Odesa region, ensuring general organizational coordination of the work of the office, coordination of work processes, interaction between programs and prompt resolution of organizational issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
Participation in integrated planning of activities of the protection program within Odesa region (protection monitoring, consulting, escort, transportation, case management, care at home, C4P, awareness raising, coordination of activities of temporary residences, integration measures and other protection activities at the community level). etc.
Ensuring effective coordination between field teams and coordinating plans with the regional coordinator.
Command supportd in the implementation of activities, including quick response and work at transit centers.
Participation in meetings of committees on program activities.
Participation in internal investigations (if necessary). normal; text-decoration: none">Ensuring coordination with other programs and functional departments at the regional level.
Representation of the program in regional clusters, coordination groups, IDP councils - in agreement with the regional coordinator.
Participation in personnel planning, recruiting, transfer, dismissal of team members.
Conducting regular 1:1 meetings with team members, annual evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
Control of the use of working time / time of service provision, approval of the MTR.
Supporting team well-being: burnout prevention, conflict resolution, crisis support.
Periodic training on mainstreaming protection for employees of regional offices.
Performing the functions of the representative of the BF "Right to Protection" in the Odesa region, ensuring the overall organizational coordination of the work of the Odesa office, coordination of work processes, interaction between programs and prompt resolution of organizational issues (in agreement with the chief expert on regional coordination).
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Higher education in social or social sciences — social work, law, sociology, social psychology, political science, public administration, or other related majors.
At least 2 years of experience in the field of humanitarian or social protection, coordination of field teams, of which at least 1 year in a coordination position.
Experience coordinating field teams.
Experience of cooperation with international donors, participation in the development or implementation of protection projects will be an advantage.
Ability to work independently to meet deadlines
Understanding humanitarian principles, mainstreaming protection standards, PSEA and accountabilitythose to the affected population.
Good communication skills, courtesy and diplomacy.
