Recruitment is announced for the position ofdeputy project managerfor the team of the NGO "Association of Sappers of Ukraine" (ASU)

ASU is a certified operator of mine action which is engaged in humanitarian demining of de-occupied territories and other areas of humanitarian activity, closely cooperating with international organizations, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and DSNS.

Requirements for candidate:

• higher education;
• fluency in English (the interview is conducted in English and Ukrainian);
• work experience (in a relevant or similar field) — from 2 years; 
contracts;
• willingness to work in a dynamic environment;
• ability to quickly solve tasks, responsibility and attentiveness;
• excellent computer skills and knowledge of a standard package of office programs;
• communication, responsibility and initiative, high level of self-organization, readiness for non-standard situations, attention to details.

Functional responsibilities:

• preparation of contractual, accompanying and reporting documentation;
• coordination of the launch of projects and organization of the process of their implementation in accordance with the terms of concluded agreements with international partners;
• compilation of an effective project plan, identification of risks and their effective avoidance;
• control of the execution of planned works for the project, including monitoring visits; 
• negotiations and correspondence with international partners, reporting on the progress of projects;
• coordination of the work of the project team: allocation and setting of tasks, quality control and deadlines;
• creating new project applications and drawing up their budgets; 
• expenditure planning, distribution of funding and control of the targeted use of funds by budget articles; 
• control of calculations and expenses that are carried out as part of project implementation.
