Data collector, interviewer in ACTED

ACTED provides ongoing support to vulnerable communities by ensuring the sustainability of post-crisis interventions and preparedness for the long-term challenges facing populations in order to break the cycle of poverty, promote development and reduce vulnerability to disasters. Period of work:

• The position involves project work under financing
• The term of the project from 12.02.2026 - 31.03.2026 with the possibility extension

Remuneration:

data collector — 1,670 UAH. on the day before taxation

Main responsibilities:

Under the direction of the team leader, the data collector must:

1. Completely possess and apply in practice the basic humanitarian principles.
2. Comply with ACTED rules of internal procedure, safety rules and labor discipline.
3. Participate in trainings and exercises aimed at improving professional skills.
4. Completely know and be able to apply research methodology, respondent selection technique and interview protocol.
5. Be able to organize meetings at all levels and conduct interviews at data collection points with sample groups and key informants.
6. Follow management-developed information collection plans using appropriate technical devices.
7. Ensure error-free entry, storage and processing of entered information in accordance with instructions.
8. Be able to evaluate and conduct primary analysis of collected information.
9. Coordinate your work with management, take an active part in discussing plans and work results and any other issues.
10. Constantly follow the instructions and directions of the team leader, the data collector's job description and the code of conduct.
11. Prepare reports on the progress of program implementation.
12. Perform other tasks as requested by the team leader.

Requirements for candidates:

• High level of self-organization. Able to work with a minimum level of coordination
• Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian languages
• Experience using a smartphone based on the ANDROID operating system
• Knowledge of software: Windows, MS Word, Excel, Outlook
• Highly developed teamwork skills
• Highly developed communication skills
• High level of dedication
• Availability of a personal laptop

Preferred:

• Experience of working in humanitarian organizations
• Experience of working with people of different ages and social status
• Experience of conducting research (including sociological)
• Experience of conducting individual and group of polls
