Ugears is an international brand of mechanical 3D wooden puzzles that combines engineering, design and storytelling. Our models are sold in dozens of countries around the world, and texts are a key tool that helps explain complex ideas in a simple and inspiring way.

Position

Copywriter / Content Writer (EN, UA)

Objective of the role

Creation of quality, structured and brand?aligned content for digital?channels, advertising campaigns and new Ugears products with a focus on English language and further localization.

Main duties

1. Content for social networks

• Filling the monthly content?plan:
  • Writing 20-25 posts in English for Facebook and Instagram in accordance with the technical specifications
  • Translation of texts (DE, ES, FR, etc.) and control of the correctness of model names
  • Translation of posts into Ukrainian
  • Selection and accounting of links for everyone language versions
  • Selection of relevant hashtags

2. Advertising campaigns

• Writing advertising texts for Facebook (EN + localization)
• Writing texts for Google campaigns (EN + localization)
• Adapting messages for different formats and audiences

3. Texts for new models

• Creation of names, slogans, UTP (unique sales offers) and labels for packaging:
  • Collection and analysis of information about model prototypes
  • Preparation of several variants of slogans and key messages
• Writing a description of the model in English
• Creation of press releases and newsletters about new models
• Working with edits after approval
• Sending for translations and control of translation execution
• Translation of the final version into Ukrainian
• Formation of a single text file for all languages

4. Translations

• Translation of blog articles into Ukrainian and coordination of translations in other languages
• Translation of texts for infographics of new models

5. Other

• Creation of email newsletters in English and Ukrainian languages
• Participation in the development of scripts, titles, descriptions for video content (YouTube, social networks)
• Working with Google documents and tables
• Cooperation with marketing, designers and product team

Requirements

• Experience as a copywriter / content writer from 2 years
• Fluent English (C1+), Ukrainian is a must
• Experience in writing marketing and product texts
• Understanding the principles of branding and tone of voice
• Attention to details, systematicity, ability to work with edits
• Experience with multilingual projects will be an advantage

Will be a plus

• Experience in international e?commerce projects
• Interest in engineering, design, mechanics
• Experience with AI?tools for content
