Kharkiv regional youth public organization "EDUCATED INITIATIVE"Youth NGO helping Ukrainian families survive the war, founded in 2008, implements educational projects for youth, vulnerable social groups and provides humanitarian aid to Ukrainians on the front lines. In 2023, we became an accredited partner of the UNHFU UGKS.
We are looking for a qualified manager with strong organizational skills to coordinate the direction of self-defense within the region.
This position involves close cooperation with local communities, government organizations, and therefore the ability to establish contacts and maintain communication at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination of mobile brigades and organization of self-defense classes.
- Organization of self-defense classes within the region, agreements with local self-government bodies, state institutions and educational institutions about locations and ensuring the participation of beneficiaries in activities.
- Managing a team of self-defense trainers, ensuring their training and development, as well as monitoring the performance of job duties and the quality of training.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs, collecting feedback from participants and implementing necessary improvements.
- Organizing logistical support for trainings (equipment, training materials) and timely notification to the purchasing specialist in case of need for additional inventory.
- Cooperation with partners and interested parties to ensure quality training.
- Participation in the process of searching and selecting candidates for the positions of trainers of self-defense.
- Compilation of reports on program results and preparation of analytics for management.
Requirements:
- Higher education in the field of physical culture, sports science or martial arts will be an advantage.
- Experience in managing teams and organizing training programs.
- High level of communication and organizational skills.
- Fluency in Ukrainian, knowledge of English will be an advantage.
