Coordinator in the direction of repair works in Region Karpat, MFOZNS / NEEKA

MFOZNS "Carpathian Region" NEEKA announces a competition for the position of coordinator for repair work in Roma communities, on the basis of part-time working time of 70%.

Requirements for the candidate:

-Higher technical education: engineering, water supply and drainage, ecology, hydraulic engineering, construction or other related fields/

-Experience of 3 years in the management of technical or infrastructure projects.

-Knowledge of drinking water quality standards.

-Confident user: MS Office, Excel, technical documentation.

-Experience working with communities, a team of technical specialists or contractors is a significant advantage.

Main duties:

1. Determination of priority objects for repair/reconstruction (wells, water towers, columns, networks).

2. Organization and control of repair works (by own forces or contractors).

3. Preparation of technical tasks, estimates, performance schedules.

4. Checking the quality of the performed works, technical compliance.

5. Development of a water quality monitoring plan in target communities.

6. Analysis of research results, formulation of recommendations for improving water quality.

7. Management of engineers, craftsmen, technical workers or field crews.

8. Engagement contracting organizations, support of the procurement process, verification of contract implementation.

9. Preparation of reports for management/donors: technical, financial, analytical.

10. Holding meetings with representatives of communities, local authorities, condominiums regarding the state of water supply.

11. Representation of the organization in terms of engineering solutions when reporting to donors.
