Consultant in MDM (Master Data Management) in EY (Ernst & Young)

Our EY Consulting team is focused on working with our clients to leverage Master Data Management (MDM) solutions innovations and create business value. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of MDM design and implementations for big companies and organizations who can assist EY clients on their business transformation journeys and MDM implementation projects.

Role Overview

As a consultant in MDM, this person will be responsible for working in a team of consulting professionals across client engagements such as development of digital and business processes automation strategy, development of approaches, concepts and methodology related to master data management, data classification and enrichment, design data classification models and business processes related to data management, implementation planning for MDM solutions. 

We are looking for a motivated, analytic individual with deep understanding and a successful track record of complex MDM projects and initiatives implementation in multidisciplinary and diverse environment. The incumbent must be able to develop enduring, strong relationships, within the team, clients and across EY organization. The candidate should have significant previous experience of working in teams in area of MDM. They should also have a good level of understanding around the use and importance of Master Data for correct work of IT systems and decision making.  

Specific Responsibilities

• Working in project team in a fast paced and demanding environment by utilizing strong interpersonal skills.
• Participating simultaneous projects and engagement teams including problem disaggregation and planning, development of requirements to master data, development of approaches, concepts and methodology related to master data management, data classification and enrichment, design data classification models and business processes related to data management.
• Participate in the developing frameworks, approaches, solutions and recommendations through the analysis of client requirements and data from multiple sources that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges by framing the results in a cohesive strategy and articulating recommendations and insights to executive management.
• Influencing peers in other functional areas (e.g., finance, supply chain, procurement, EAM etc.) and across consulting teams to deliver best in class projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of EY resources and expertise.
• As a master data management expert, utilize consultative and data driven approach that ensures knowledge sharing, coaching and training across other consulting functional teams to maximize the performance of clients.

Ideal Background and Qualifications

We are looking for an implementation consultant with deep expertise in master data and / or data management and consulting to provide analysis and strategic thinking to shape the services we deliver to clients, perform consulting tasks and engagements, and develop actionableand scalable insights and solutions. Ideal candidate could be a senior consultant or consultant level in a consulting or integration firm or other organization. Experience with implementation of MDM solution and / or IBM Maximo EAM is a plus.

Required experience  

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required from an accredited institution
• At least 3 years of experience in Information Technology
• At least 2 years of experience in area of master data management
