Main tasks:

• Performing production tasks in the field of climate adaptation and ensuring the effective functioning of the environmental component of ESG in NEC "Ukrenergo".

• Development and updating of guiding documents on climate adaptation (policies, regulations, plans).

• Conducting benchmarking studies on issues of climate adaptation and best international practices.

• Analysis of changes in EU and Ukrainian legislation in the field of climate, as well as social and ecological standards of ENTSO-E, with subsequent implementation of requirements into the corporate management system.

• Assessment of climate impacts from the company’s activities, calculation of greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1–3), participation in setting SBTi goals.

• Social and environmental support construction and reconstruction projects in accordance with the environmental standards of international investors.
  

Requirements for the candidate:

• Full higher education in a natural or technical field.

• Additional education in the field of sustainable development, ESG, climate adaptation/decarbonization, environmental management (certificates for the last 5 years).

• Work experience of at least 3 years in the field of energy or sustainable development.

• Experience of environmental support of construction projectsva or reconstruction - at least 2 years.

• Experience in analyzing legislation and standards of ENTSO-E / international investors and preparing relevant reports - at least 2 years.

• Experience in developing ESMP and conducting socio-ecological monitoring in accordance with the requirements of international investors - will be an advantage.

• Knowledge of Ukrainian legislation in the field of energy, environmental protection, sustainable development and ESG.
