Ukrainian Network for Children's Rights (hereinafter - UMPD) was created to consolidate efforts and improve coordination between civil society organizations in Ukraine and their influence on state policy in the field of ensuring children's rights.

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing expert and methodical support for the protection of children's rights within the framework of the project.
  • Monitoring national legislation and policies regarding children and participating in the preparation of analytical recommendations.
  • Consulting the project team and partners on the application of international standards for the protection of children's rights.
  • Participation in preparation of analytical materials, reports and presentations based on the results of the project.
  • Ensuring compliance with the principles of safeguarding, PSEA, gender equality and “do no harm” in all project activities.
  • Supporting the participation of children and youth in consultations and activities within the project.

Requirements for the candidate(s):

  • higher education by specialty: law, psychology, sociology or pedagogy, social development or another related field;
  • work experience in the social sphere for at least 2 years;
  • knowledge in the field of child rights protection and social work;
  • knowledge legislation in the field of protection of children's rights and social protection;
  • experience of working with children, families and socially vulnerable segments of the population;
  • understanding of the specifics of the work of services for children, centers of social services and social protection;
  • experience of working in the sector of non-governmental organizations - an additional advantage;
  • ability to work with databases, prepare reporting documents;
  • confident command of a computer (MS Office, Internet resources, Google Workspace);
  • knowledge of the English language will be an additional advantage, but not mandatory.

Working conditions:

  • contract for the provision of services with an individual entrepreneur of the 3rd group;
  • partial remote work: work online, work in the office, business trips within Ukraine;
