Chernihiv regional organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine is one of the leading humanitarian organizations operating in the territory of Chernihiv region. We provide assistance and support to people in difficult situations, provide medical and social services, conduct training and education on issues of civilian support.

We are announcing a competition for the position of chief consultant.

Job description:  

• Conduct and facilitate awareness raising sessions on evidence-based rehabilitation and rehabilitation in the community for volunteers, employees of the TCHU, the population, first-line specialists (social, medical, educational spheres) and partners.
• Participates in the development of training materials and information sessions on the subject of evidence-based rehabilitation.
• Conducts trainings and education to increase awareness of evidence-based rehabilitation in communities for all interested categories of the population (social workers, medical personnel, students, relatives beneficiaries).
• Establishes relations with potential institutions, institutions and community administration for conducting trainings together with the project manager. 
• Performs the organization of trainings (location search, provision of materials, procurement procedures).
• Performs assessment of the needs of the target audience and adaptation of training programs in accordance with their level of knowledge and needs.
• Provides feedback to participants regarding their success and development of professional competences.
• Prepares reports on conducted trainings and analyzes the effectiveness of training programs. 
• Participates in the development of the strategy of educational programs for rehabilitation.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Higher education in the indicated field of work or another related field.
• Experience in conducting educational events (trainings, seminars) and developing educational materials (advantage).
• Ability to effectively communicate with different groups of specialists and adapt materials according to their needs, excellent oratorical skills. 
• High level of organizational skills.
• Readiness for business trips.
• Fluent command of the Ukrainian language.
• Proficiency in English at a level sufficient to work with international sources
• Practical experience in implementing evidence-based approaches in rehabilitation programs (advantage).

• Additional duties/tasks as assigned by the manager.

• Perform any other work-related tasks and duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
