Position: Resource mobilization specialist
Organization: Regional organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine
Goal:Strengthening the capacity of regional and local organizations to attract resources to respond to the needs of communities by developing partnerships, coordinating fundraising activities and implementing sustainable approaches to resource mobilization.
- General provisions.
- Qualification requirements:
- Higher education (management, social sciences, economics, public administration, marketing or related specialty);
- Experience in the field of resource mobilization, organizational development, project management, partnership interaction, marketing or related fields - from 1 year (experience in the public, charitable or social sector will be an advantage);
- Understanding of the main tools of resource mobilization and principles of public work
- Skills of strategic planning, coordination and support of processes;
- Experience of communication with partners, donors and other interested parties; of information;
- High level of communication skills, proactivity and result orientation;
- Experience in facilitating meetings, consultations or coordination meetings will be an advantage.
The specialist must be knowledgeable regarding:
- Legislation of Ukraine, normative legal acts, standards, methodical and regulatory documents regulating professional activities;

- Writing grant applications and drawing up business plans;

- Cooperation with local organizations:
- Methodical support in the formation and activity of resource mobilization teams at the local level;
- Ensuring systematic communication with local organizations on resource mobilization, holding coordination meetings, individual consultations, online/offline meetings etc.;
- Provision of methodical support in planning and use of various tools for mobilizing resources, participation in the implementation of local fundraising activities;
- Support in building relations with the authorities at the local level in order to attract resources from local budgets, as well as participation in state tenders and programs;
- Help in building relations with local businesses. Direct participation in negotiation processes, if necessary;
- Supporting the development of social entrepreneurship at the regional and local levels.
- Involvement of partners and grant management:
- Creation and expansion of the partner base of the regional organization and monitoring of the management of the partner base by local organizations according to the established template;
- Creation of a team at the level of the regional organization from interested persons in order to prepare grant projects and participate in external grant competitions;
- Search for relevant grant opportunities for local organizations. Providing methodological and consulting support in the process of preparing and submitting applications for participation in external grant competitions;
- Supporting local organizations in communicating with donors, partners and preparing reports for the reporting period.
