HR Agency Key People
Our client is an investment and development group with an international structure that combines an investment company, development projects and SPVs in different jurisdictions. Due to business scaling, the company is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - a key figure responsible for the financial architecture, capital control and financial stability of the group.
This role is not about accounting, but about building a managed financial system, working with debt capital and strategic partnership with the CEO and CIO.
Main tasks and responsibilities
1. Management accounting, reporting and automation
Building a system of management accounting and financial consolidation "from scratch"
Selection and implementation of IT solutions for accounting and analytics (ERP, BI, consolidation systems)
Formation of a unified financial model of the group and regular management reporting (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet)
Consolidation of data across jurisdictions, currencies and ownership structures
2. Attracting financing and debt management
Working with banks and creditors: project financing, credit lines
Management of the debt portfolio and monitoring of the fulfillment of covenants
Optimization of the cost of capital (WACC)
Interaction with private and institutional creditors
3. Control and routing of cash flows
Projecting the movement of funds: from the investor through the investment company to the SPV and back
Setting and control of the Payment Approval Matrix, limits and authorities
Control of investment, operational and intra-group payments
4. Tax and legal structuring
Initiation and control of tax efficient structures (within the limits of legislation)
Participation in building the legal architecture of asset ownership
Interaction with external consultants, auditors and Big 4
5. Budgeting and risk management
Formation and control of budget execution
Scenario planning, currency and interest risks
Liquidity management
6. Investment Finance and Investment Committee
Checking financial models of investment projects
Assessment of key assumptions and exit scenarios
Participation in the Investment Committee
Monitoring financial KPI of portfolio assets
Profile candidate
Experience
5+ years in the position of CFO / Finance Director in investment, development or private capital companies
Professional skills
Deep understanding of Project Finance
Experience of working with international holding structures and SPV
Successful cases automation of financial accounting and reporting
Personal qualities
Systemic thinking and proactivity
Ability to see risks and growth points behind numbers
Experience instructures of scalable financial systems "from scratch"
