Spendbase is a rapidly growing Ukrainian fintech startup on a mission to revolutionize the way companies optimize spending on SaaS, cloud, and corporate cards. We’re a passionate team building a game-changing AI-powered platform, and we’re looking for a  Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team and play a pivotal role in our journey.

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute Spendbase’s long-term growth strategy.
• Oversee all aspects of finance, including financial planning & analysis (FP&A), accounting, tax, treasury management, and financial reporting.
• Secure funding through debt or equity financing to support Spendbase’s ambitious growth plans.
• Lead and develop a talented finance team to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and explore innovative financial solutions to optimize Spendbase’s financial health.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Be passionate about our mission and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Who You Are:

• A seasoned finance professional with at least 10 years of experience in a high-growth tech environment (fintech preferred).
• Proven track record of success in financial leadership roles, with a strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Expertise in accounting principles (US GAAP or IFRS) and strong analytical skills.
• Experience in fundraising (debt or equity) and investor relations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• A strong leader with the ability to build, motivate, and coach a high-performing team.
• A proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a focus on efficiency.
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English (written and spoken).
