SE "Medical Procurement of Ukraine" is looking for a category manager (medicinal products).

Improving the medical system in Ukraine - could this be for you?

The main goal of the position is to ensure effective, transparent and economically sound procurement management of medicines within the relevant category at the stages of needs analysis, working with the market and preparation of medical and technical requirements.

What you will need to do:

• Plan, organize and accompany purchases in the assigned category - from the stage of needs analysis to the delivery of goods to the final recipients.
• Ensure comprehensive management of the category direction: coordinate all processes related to procurement, technical requirements, market consultations, price analysis.
• Analyze manufacturers/suppliers of medicinal products.
• Conduct market consultations with suppliers, manufacturers.
• Develop medical and technical requirements for the subject of purchase.
• Participate in the preparation and processing of projects of regulatory legal acts, methods, programs on issues of the procurement procedure of medicinal products means.
• Conduct an independent and objective evaluation of the tender offers of procurement participants within their category.

Musthave for future colleagues (qualifications requirements):

• Experience of 1 year in the field of public procurement, procurement activities or in the position of a category manager. (Experience in procurement of medicines and medical products will be an advantage.)
• Knowledge of the market, understanding of the principles of public procurement and procurement procedures, ability to work with NPA.
• Technology. You know how to effectively use task managers at work (we work in Teams, SAP), e-mail, calendar, Google Drive functions, MS Office, electronic document management systems (we work in DocProf), as well as everything related to the electronic procurement system.
• Language. Fluency in Ukrainian and English will be an advantage.
• Education. Completed higher education - preferably in law, economics, medicine or pharmacy.
