The international charity fund Caritas of Ukraine is looking for a Cash and Voucher Expert (CWG) to join its team
Main duties:
- Providing technical support for the implementation of cash and voucher interventions (MPCA/UCT, medical vouchers) within humanitarian projects in accordance with Cash Working Group (CWG) and Health Cluster standards.
- Working with project teams on the application of approved methodologies and SOPs.
- Ensuring compliance with humanitarian standards (CHS, Sphere) and donor requirements.
- Participation in data collection, primary analysis of needs and basic market analysis.
- Control of timely and correct filling of Activity Info in terms of cash and voucher assistance.
- Preparation and verification of technical and reporting documentation.
- Participation in coordination meetings and meetings (CWG) on behalf of the manager or lead expert.
Requirements:
- Higher education.
- Experience in humanitarian or international projects.
- Desirable experience in cash and/or voucher assistance, basic needs or protection health.
- Knowledge of humanitarian standards and principles (CHS, Sphere).
- Understanding of cash and voucher approaches (MPCA, sectoral cash, vouchers).
- Knowledge of CWG principles and approaches is desirable.
- Understanding of the project cycle of humanitarian programs.
- Understanding of reporting principles.
- Readiness for periodic business trips (approximately 2-5 days, approximately 1 time per month), including to the frontline areas.
Necessary knowledge and professional skills:
- Languages: Ukrainian – fluent, English – not below the level B2.
- MS Office / Google Workspace – confident user.
- Online data collection and analysis tools (Kobo or similar) – basic/intermediate.
- Working with beneficiary databases and spreadsheets – basic/intermediate.
Personal qualities and skills:
- Ability to work effectively with several stakeholders simultaneously.
- Developed communication and coordination skills.
- Systems thinking and responsibility.
- Ability to work in a dynamic humanitarian environment.
- Effective time planning and meeting deadlines.
